Director
Carol Cadby has been a stage director for 35+ years and has directed and/or produced 500+ plays and musicals on the professional, college and secondary levels. Carol’s award winning signature style is experimental and highly conceptual with an emphasis on innovative staging, abstract movement and truthful acting. Shows in her repertoire include Wizard of Oz, Aida, Mama Mia, West Side Story, Peter Pan, James and the Giant Peach, Animal Farm, Our Town, Almost Maine, The Adventures of Pinocchio, Carnival, Nevermore: Edgar Allan Poe the Final Mystery, Alice in Wonderland, The Secret Garden, The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail and Pippin.
Carol also specializes in creating devised work and original adaptations. Included in her repertoire are Oedipus, Bury the Dead, Julius Caesar, Girls Who Glow, Dracula, East of the Sun West of the Moon, Metamorphosis, The Imaginary Invalid, Bottom’s Dream, Voices Out of Chaos and 350+ Solo One Person Shows.
